RV Service Technician
Job Description
- Recreation vehicle certified technicians examine, troubleshoot and diagnose units
needing repair and maintenance. They install, repair and maintain interior and
exterior components on motor homes, travel trailers, fifth wheel trailers, truck
campers, tent trailers and van conversions.
- Duties may include: installation of accessories; performing pre-delivery inspections;
reading and writing repair orders; troubleshooting, repair and maintenance on
propane gas and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters,
ranges and air conditioners; repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components;
and the ability to install, repair, replace and maintain roofs, siding, windows, doors,
vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical
systems, propane gas systems, batteries and charging systems.
- While they do not repair engines or drive train components of motorized vehicles,
they may install trailer and fifth wheel hitches, wire tow vehicles and perform
maintenance and repairs on trailer frames, undercarriage and suspension.
- Use testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, manufacturers' specifications,
and Internet websites to assist in locating faults and performing repairs

The Power Sport Service Technician
Job Description
- Install and service all aspects of customers needs surrounding their power sport equipment as specified on work orders using both mechanical and power tools.
- Maintain service schedules, preparing products for delivery to customer and testing units for proper and safe operation.
- Partner with the service administrator by requesting / obtaining parts per established company policies, compiling warranty packages, installing optional equipment per customer's request and completing required service check lists.
- Responsible for assessing the condition of Power Equipment and determining when the machine is not acceptable, has additional problems, customer's request is not possible or service requested may result in a safety issue.
- Attend technical training to improve proficiency, quality of work and maintain knowledge of current techniques.
- Answer service questions over the phone and in person.
- Work directly with the service administrator in maintaining service records.

Qualifications
- Mercury/Yamaha experienced, outboard/Inboard technician. Position will perform service and warranty repairs on boats, motors and trailers, in addition to installing accessory items as needed. Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to and in excess of 50 pounds is required. Must have own tools. Experience with marine service and warranty repairs is required.
